Welcome to our Infant Rooms!
At Whiz Kids, we have 3 classrooms dedicated to our infants. An infant may be placed in any one of the classrooms based on their age and development. Infants can be enrolled into our program as early as 6-weeks old. Each child will move through our infant areas as they grow and develop.
All of our infant rooms are equipped with refrigerators to store each child’s food and bottles, cribs and/or cots, and a variety of age-appropriate, engaging, interactive, and exploratory toys.
Our infant rooms operate on a 4-to-1 ratio meaning 4 children to 1 staff member in order to give each child appropriate care and attention.
Our infant program uses The Creative Curriculum® by Teaching Strategies, a play-based approach that supports each baby’s growth and development. We also support active learning in American Sign Language. Teachers observe and assess milestones to plan activities that encourage movement, communication, and social skills. Through music, exploration, and lots of one-on-one time, babies learn and grow in a caring, nurturing environment designed just for them.
Infant AA
Our infant AA room houses our youngest of the center. We provide a nurturing and engaging space for our littlest learners. Tummy time mats, music and sensory toys, and cozy cribs, allow babies explore and grow in a safe, caring environment. Each child follows their own schedule for naps, bottle or food times, and play, guided by the routines you provide at home.
Infant BB
Our infant BB room welcomes our scoochers and crawlers. A large, open space gives little explorers plenty of room to move, play, and discover safely. A variety of toys and activity areas invite curiosity and support developmental growth. Each child follows a personalized schedule for naps and meals, based on the routine you provide, ensuring consistency and comfort while supporting their learning and development.
Infant CC is for our waddlers and walkers. This infant room prepares children for the transition to our toddler program. These babies enjoy a variety of toys, interactive play, and safe exploration, while beginning to adjust to a shared schedule for meals and naps.
