Before and after school program

Our Before and After School Program provides a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment for school-aged children. Children enjoy a balance of structured and free-choice time, including homework support if desired, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play. A healthy afternoon snack is provided each day to help them refuel after school. Our goal is to create a fun and supportive space where children can unwind, learn, and connect with friends before and after their school day.

Transportation

Whiz Kids provides transportation to and from Bristol Public Schools to children who are enrolled in our program with the exception of Green Hills School*. Our Whiz Kids vans are fully equipped with booster seats and 5 point carseats to accommodate the children who are being transported. Our staff drivers are all endorsed by the Connecticut DMV to drive school children. Each Whiz Kids van used for school transportation is labeled “carrying school children” for safety.

*Green Hills School provides a school bus that picks the children up in the morning from the designated pickup spot at Whiz Kids and drops them off after school at the same location where our after school teachers are waiting for them.

Drop-in care

In addition to our before and after school program, we also offer drop-in care on days with school closings, holidays, snow days, and early dismissals.

Note: You must enroll your child in our drop-in care program to use our program during the school year.
