Brenda Leone

Owner

Director

Brenda has been an integral part of the development of Whiz Kids since the beginning, opening it’s doors with former owner Nancy, in 1987. Brenda has a certification in business administration and recently transitioned to the role of owner, after working as the business director for 38 years.

When asked what Brenda loves most about Whiz Kids, she said a few things. She loves what Whiz Kids represents in the community. A place working families can drop their children off and trust that they will be loved and safe all day. She also loves seeing the full circle moment many of her daycare families experience. They began as children, ended up working for Whiz Kids as teenagers, and now returned to send their own children to the center.

Brenda has two children who also attended Whiz Kids in their youth.

In her free time, Brenda likes trying new restaurants with friends, going to the beach in the summer, traveling with her husband, and lifting weights.

Jerrica Rivera

Assistant Director

Sienna has been a part of the Whiz Kids family since 2018 and has worked in every one of our 11 areas. She has a Directors Credential in Early Childhood Education from Charter Oak College and has been in our director role since 2025.

When asked what Sienna loves most about Whiz Kids, she said she loves watching children learn and grow through the center.

In her free time, Sienna enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, going to the beach and paddle boarding in the summer months, and the occasional nap.

Jerrica has been a part of Whiz Kids since 2019. She began her journey caring for infants and very quickly became a familiar face throughout the center. In 2022, she stepped into the Assistant Director role, where she continues to build meaningful relationships with children and families.

When asked what she loves most about Whiz Kids, Jerrica says it’s the connections she has built with the children and their families over the years. Whether she’s visiting classrooms, or saying hello to children as they pass by the office, she loves being an active part of each child’s day.

As both the Assistant Director and now a Whiz Kids parent, Jerrica is excited to watch her daughter begin her own journey at the center, and be a part of the wonderful village that makes Whiz Kids special.

In her free time, Jerrica enjoys arts and crafts, spending time with her friends and family, and, of course, shopping!
